Hello... I'm back!

 Not that I was really gone, but just too busy with other things to do anything here.  Well, I intend to spend more time on all my blogs, including this one.

I will post pictures of more of my handmade cards soon.

Weeks 13 to 21

I'm a bit behind in posting how I've been doing, but am NOT behind in my counts.  They are as follows:

Week 13 (April 1) - 10

This brings my total up to 282.

Week 12 - March 25

Well, managed to make 16 cards this week.  That brings my total for the year to 209!

Week 10 - March 11 and Week 11 - March 18

Oops, forgot to post the last two weeks.... let's see if I can remember. for the 18th, I know it was 10 cards.  For the 11th, I know I made more than the required 7... I believe I made 10 that week as well. (It may have been more, but won't have been less than 10.  10 is the lowest weekly amount I've made so far.)

Week 9 - March 4th

Much better!  Managed to do 18 cards this past week.  Here is a photo of 17 of them.

Week 8 - February 25th

This week I only managed 10.  Still, it is more than the 7 a week that I need to honour my resolution, so I'm happy. 
Monday and Tuesday (the 23rd & 24th), were supposedly days off, but I ended up working at the Star/Journal, as well as from 3-5 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, after putting in 8 hours at Little Fort.  Next week I get to do basically the same thing... makes for a nice paycheck, but I'll be glad when these 2 weeks are over.  I'll be pretty pooped!

Week 7 - February 18th

20 cards for this week.  I meant to download the picture I took of them, but it seems I may have accidentally deleted the picture.  Oh well, maybe next time (if I remember to take a picture of them.

Week 6 - February 12th

This week I made 19 cards.  So far I have sent one card to Loretta (still no card back yet), and have set aside 5 more cards.

I have also made another resolution... to make a 'dessert' at least once a week.  Cookies, cakes, pies... whatever strikes my fancy.  (The guys like this one.)  I plan to make an apple pie tomorrow.

Week 5 - February 5th

Well, this week got off to a very slow start.  First of all, on Thursday afternoon when I got home I had a meeting to go to, and in the evening I got a whopper of a toothache.  Kept me up most of the night and the next day (Friday) I was working the 6:30am-2:30pm shift.  Was totally useless in the afternoon when I got home, 'cause I was so tired.  Saturday was the same shift, 6:30am-2:30pm.  When I got home, had another meeting to go to.  Sunday, thank goodness, was a day off, so I finally managed to make a few cards.
I ended up with 10 cards for the week. 

Week 4 - January 28

Well, for the week ending January 28, I made 29 cards!  Here's a picture of them.... you will likely note that the picture only shows 28.  I'm putting one aside to either trade, or to give away for the next group that is looking for donations of items for raffles or whatever.

Week 3 - January 21st

Made 20 cards this week.  Will post a picture with the next week's cards.

Week 2 - January 14th

Well, a good week - 25 cards made.  One has been set aside, in case Loretta decides to take me up on the card swap suggestion.

January 7th

Well, since January 1st, I have made 22 cards.  Here is a picture of 21 of them.  One card is in an envelope waiting to be mailed to Loretta.... Loretta - the ball's in your court now - will you, or won't you, make a card or two?

Dec. 31st, 2014

Well, from the 24th to today, I made a total of 13 cards (no picture this time).  So far so good.  I will post a picture of the next batch.

Well, I think I'm off to a good start.  Dec. 21st I made 2 cards, yesterday (Dec. 22), I made 10, and today I made 2 cards.  The 2 that I made today are not in the above picture.

New Year's Resolution for 2015

The resolution:

To make 1 card a day (or 7 per week). 

Also, if anyone out there is into making cards, and makes a similar resolution - I will trade 1 card per week (or 4 per month) with them.  When I send the cards, I will not write in them, so that you can use the card yourself to send to others.

Hah!  I did it... I actually had 4 cards finished by Friday - here they are:

Then, Friday night I got a call from my best customer, Mary Ellen, for another dozen of my Tea cards.  Now, she had cleaned me out of them with her last order of a dozen just before Christmas, so I didn't have any ready.   So Saturday I made 9, and Sunday 3 more, and mailed them off to her on Monday.  Here they are: (and no, I won't be counting them for next Sunday's lot!)
